Dalmatian Wine Icons is an autumn wine event of the Vino Dalmacije Association when Dalmatia, after the summer season, comes to Zagreb to present the best from its wineries, the so-called flagships of the cellar. Dalmatia is a treasure trove of native wine varieties and the cradle of winemaking in Croatia, and Dalmatian Wine Icons is a place for the presentation of excellent wines that can mature for a long time and be kept for several years, wines that have won the highest grades in various competitions and according to many reputable critics, and have been marked as wines worthy of archives and private collections, or come from cellar archives.
Each exhibitor highlights a maximum of three labels from their portfolio that they are particularly proud of, with an emphasis on red wine labels, but aged white wines and ProŠek are exhibited as well. The wine is presented and distributed to visitors by the winemaker himself, which raises the significance of the entire event to a special level.
